Pent Library vs Section Store: compare the workflow

Compare Pent Library and Section Store using their published sections, template, branding and selling-tool workflows. Review current plans before choosing.

Both now cover design and selling tools

Section Store is not limited to individual sections. Its current listing includes a cart drawer, bundles, upsells and AI pages. Pent Library brings theme sections, ready-made page templates, a branding editor and selling tools into one app. Choose between the actual workflows rather than assuming only one offers upsells.

When to explore Pent Library

Start with Pent Library if you want to preview a coordinated storefront using 209 sections and 30 ready-made page templates. Try colors and fonts in the branding editor, preview desktop and mobile layouts, then finish the setup in Shopify’s theme editor.

Free includes up to two installed sections and template previews. Full Access is listed at $20/month or $180/year and includes unlimited installed sections, templates and selling tools. Templates use your section allowance, and home pages use guided setup. See Pent Library pricing and the App Store listing for current terms.

When to explore Section Store

Section Store’s website advertises more than 700 sections, with free and individually purchased sections. Its App Store listing describes one-time charges for premium sections and a separate Section Store Plus subscription at $15/month.

The Plus listing includes cart rewards, gifts and upsells, several bundle types, AI pages, conversion blocks, and A/B tests on carts and bundles. If buying particular sections individually or those specific tools fit your brief, test that workflow directly.

Make the choice with one real page

Use your own imagery and copy to compare a representative page in each app. Check the available layouts, brand controls, installation steps and mobile result. For selling tools, test a complete order with your existing discounts. Compare the total plan and section costs for the store you actually intend to build.

Neither feature lists nor catalog sizes establish better performance or conversion for your store. This comparison makes no claim about a feature being absent when it is not documented.
